Green Growth BC's mission is to provide British Columbians with trusted, verifiable, fact-based analysis on forestry in our province. We want to provide the resources leaders and concerned citizens need to balance economic and environmental values. We want to help shift the popular conversation to one that is most nuanced, respectful, and inclusive of forestry communities and their stories.

British Columbians have searched for a trusted source to answer their questions on forestry and mature forests in our province. We have watched as certain groups with vested interests have taken advantage of the general public’s lack of understanding to spread misinformation. Much of that misinformation hides behind supposedly ‘independent’ reports based on half truths, imprecise terminology, and incomplete and irreplicable datasets. These voices have exposed a shortage of reliable, trustworthy, and accessible sources of information on forestry for the average British Columbian.
